According to Arthur Hobson Quinn's "Edgar Allan Poe: Critical Biography" (Johns Hopkins Press) Virginia Eliza Clemm was the daughter of William Clemm, Jr., and his wife Maria. I believe Edgar lived next to them in Baltimore in the 1830s(?). A family tree is found on pages 16 and 17 of the book with birth, marriage and death dates for a few generations of EAPoe's family.
