Will Book #9 Tazewell County VA
William Perry, Will probated September, 1874. Devises his property to his children; Wiate, Jonathan, Sally, Jane Poe, Jacob
H.. Isaac M., Ezra D., Francis Evans, and Christine Ashely.

In addition to the will information I can verify the following
Wyatt Perry married Charity Perry, daughter of Samuel Perry of Ashe County. Wyatt lived most of his life in Ashe County NC
except for a brief stay in Tazewell, in what appears to be a time to care for his aging father. He returned to Alleghany County
NC after his father's death.
William is in Ashe County census for 1850, H/H 843 with his wife Charity. He and Charity are in Tazewell in the 1860 census
(H/H 170) and William was living with Wyatt in 1870 Tazewell (H/H 79). Apparently Charity had died by that time.
Jane Perry married Henry Poe.
I have reason to believe that William and Charity had an additional son, but have thus far been unable to identify him. There
was a William Perry Jr in Ashe county, but I'm not convinced it is him.
Christine Perry married William Ashely.
The will information is new to myself and I will be researching the other children as I have the opportunity. I haven't had the
opportunity to add these records to my web page as yet, and hope to do further research before rewriting the pages to
accommodate it. I hope to eventually have contacted a descendent of each of William and Wyatt's lines.
