Had a smile over your zanny sense of humour which showed a lot of 'common sense'

Of course I haven't verified my sources! Why should I be any different
Verification is something I was always going to go back to but I keep getting distracted with everything else. (I have attention problems plus real life keeps getting in the way of things.)

J Is that a good excuse that others use....!!!

RP..... I realize the importance of verification and I also value truth over family legend.

J - I agree strongly with that statement. So many just pass on family legends without checking them out

RP I am not so enamored of an idea that I am unwilling to see it proved false.

J. I agree strongly and feel sorry that is something that many researchers will not accept

RP I also recognize that I am not an expert in genealogy or anything else.

J- What is an expert? You appear to have used records therefore you are an 'expert' in those fields

J - Been good to discuss. Now back to checking records!!
I have no connection with Rolfe or Pocahontas- or any other colonist- just researching early colonists out of an interest in C17th history.
