Thomas Plunkett 7th ward, Brooklyn, Kings Co NY 7-26-1860 Series M653 Roll 767 pg 264 age 30 house # 1036 bn Ireland, Bridget age 28, John age 5, Catherine age 1.
Census 7-26-1870 (same date 10 yrs later)same location, Series M653 Roll Roll 949 pg 478 house #2044: Thomas age 40, Bridgett age 37, John age 14, Catherine age 10. Joseph age 5, Mary age 4, Margaret Agnes age 7 months. Thomas died 1873, and the rest do not fall out in any of my searches so far. I will leave it at that.
I later found a James McLaughlin age 18, Brooklyn, Kings Co, NY series T9 Roll 845 pg 634B on LDS files, son of John & Mary which seems to be the only one on record to match, but I can not make it a firm connection... you do as you wish. Good Luck, Stan
