Alan,

It definitely seems possible that the Clement bpt. May 2, 1680 was Clement of Philadelphia. It has been estimated that he was born 1680/1681. It had been estimated that Sarah his sister was born about 1685, but there's no real proof. I think mainly she was thought to be younger was because she was supposed to have been quite young when she married Judge William Hall in 1701.

I have not seen any real proof that Clement of Philadelphia was of Norfolk as has been stated in some places. Some where in my research it said his father was William. Clement was supposed to be a relative of Clement and Robert Plumstead of London. I am very interested in your research on the Plumsteads of London/Middlesex.
