Leonard, et al.

In Columbia TN, there is an old cemetery on the highway where two of James and Elizabeth Plummer's children are buried. I believe the highway is known as Highway 31. I came across them by accident. Since then, I found that One of the kids died at under 5 yoa and the other may have been a Captain in the Mexican American War when James Knox Polk was President. Polk is from Columbia as well and now, I have found that JR, Elizabeth and all the rest of their children are buried in Nashville- where James K Polk is buried. I could find no hard evidence that the Plummers and Polks ever had business dealing or intermarried or anything, but I do know that the area was still sparcely populated at their time there and they likely would have known each other at the very least. Just thought you guys might interested.
