Aimee,
I would love to try and help you. I found a John W. Beckley and wife, Hannah M. on the 1910 census of Kansas/Ledbetter Co/Parsons. I assume these are yours. He is 76 (b.@1834) born in Kentucky, his father and mother were born in Virginia. Hannah M. was 58 (b.@1852) she was born in Pennsylvania, father born in Germany, mother born in New Jersey. Do you have other information or census results farther back? If the German father is consistent on the census, there isn't a PA Plumley connection and I can't help you with a German connection. On the 1910 census they state they had been married for 33 years, which would mean they married in 1877. Have you found her census when she was 8 in 1860 or 18/19 in 1870? By 1880 they would be married. I searched 1860, all Plumley females born in PA 1850 (+-2yrs)and only came up with Mary Plumley in PA/Tioga Co/Wellsboro who was in the household of Martha Stephens, a 40 year old milliner born in NY and Mary Stephens, a 15 year old femals born in New York. This could be a problem and a dead end. What else do you have? I'll be glad to help with what I have.

Regards,
Marti
