I have an "Order of Cincinatus" that was signed by George Washington in 1790 and addressed to one of my Southmayd relatives named William Plumb who apparently was a brigade chaplain in the Revolutionary Army. I believe he was born circa 1739 and/or lived in Middletown, Connecticut. I am interested in any information anyone has on him.
