Bonjour-Leland,
Please-excuse-all-the-dashes-but-the-space-bar-on-my-keyboard-is-broken.
Thanks-for-the-response.I-wish-I-could-help,-but-my-Saintonge-line-is-an-entirely-different-one-from-the-Payant-dit-saintonge-family-that-you-indicated.-Generally,-any-saintonge-found-within-a-hundred-miles-of-Kamouraska-on-the-Gaspe-is-probably-a-Payant-dit.--The-Rosalie-Lebel-connection-is-very-well-documented-in-numerous-places-on-the-web,however,-and-you-should-not-have-difficulty-tracking-it-down.
My-own-line-centers-around-the-north-and-south-shore-of-Bay-Chaleur-and-has-"Sainton"-as-it's-root-surname--not-a-saintonge-dit.--I-would-be-glad-to-send-you-my-tree-if-you-like....
Good-luck...
Bill
