Hi Jean-Pierre,
Thank you for replying. I am feeling optimistic that somehow my Great, Great Grandmother, Marie, or Mary, Ploof or Plouffe, does indeed fit into the Plouffe Family line you have researched. It might take some time to get the pieces of this puzzle to fit though. As far as Jeanne, the woman you referred me to, I was the one who gave her the information about Mary Ploof, and she has been kind enough to try to help me with that. I didn't realize she posted any inquiries regarding the Ploof family line on my account. I have another good friend in PQ of Canada who has been trying to help me as well. There are so many Mary's and Marie's, and without an exact date of birth, it has been difficult. Do you have any Marie's or Mary's in your information that were born between 1824 and 1836? By the way, Mary Ploof did die in 1903 in Rockville, CT. and was buried in Montague, MA. with her husband John Milo and step daughter, Mary Milo Lapine Lenois.
