My name is Dawn I'm researching a line of Pleasants that we believe came to Tn after the civil war from NC My g.grandfather is William Burden Pleasant(1879-1970)married to Nancy lou Stewart(1881-1946) his parents were Maggie Wheeler (1852-?) and John Pleasant (1850-?)and from there we have nothing except the word of mouth that previosly the family was From NC.
