Mr. Anderson, I was so glad to find this forum!I am a Player having descended from Richard Player, who d. 1754 in New Hanover County.My specific linage follows:
Richard Player d. 1754 (m: Alice...I was wrong...had Ann)
His son, Thomas Player d. 1795 (m:1st Rebecca Williams
2nd. Sarah Edmundson)
His son John Player d. 1801 (m: Elizabeth Boney 1/20/
1795 - I have her linage from Switzerland)
His only child Boney Player b. 3/25/1799, d.2/11/1863
(m:Annie Maria Saunders...They had 8 children)
His son Richard Lewis Player b. 4/3/1834, d. 1/28/1907
(M: Sarah Catherine (Sally) Brothers on 11/9/1865...
They had 11 children)
His son (my grandfather) Robert William Player b.
4/2/1881, d. 9/21/1946 (M: Annie Claire Lane and
they had 6 children including my father, Charles
Robert Player, Sr. b. 8/2/1910, d. 9/13/1989.
