Hi Dale,
I was surprised to see your posting--because we have a cousin Dale Plaster herd. He is the grandson of Ambrose Plaster. Ambrose was a brother to your Edward. My grandmother Gertrude was a sister to both. I met Ed and Debby when they came back to Arkansas for a visit when I was a kid. You have a few other Plaster and Stewart relatives here.
It's also strange you mentioned the battlefield. My grandmother often spoke of the same thing. I do know they moved to Batesville, AR from Centertown, MO. in the late 1800's. I'll be happy to share any info with you that I have.
