My James Warren b 1690 Albemarle Co, Va m Elizabeth---.
He died 1769 in Amherst Co, Va. James was the brother of Copper John. He had a son, James, an ordained baptist minister. He moved to Edgefeild, SC by 1763. He was married to Winny--. I can't find anything earlier on them. James Jr had a son named Valentine. There is another Warren family with a son of the same name in NC. But I have found no connection between them. It's been so long since I worked on this family and I had a computer crash that took all my notes. However, someone who also belongs to this family had their DNA done. Turned out to be Poynton.
Sorry, I can't be of more help. I'm stumped, too.
Julia
