Jim---I am descended from Edward I through Lady Diana Skipwith, who came here with her brother Sir Grey in the mid 1600s. I was interested also in the Bohun (pronounced Boone) discussions because one of my great-grandmothers was Sarah Cassandra Boone, Daniel's sister. It has long been assumed---but never proved, I'm told---that "de Bohun" eventually became "Boone." Do you have any thoughts or information on that issue?
