Jim, Thanks for your further comments on what is, or isn't, reliable information in this connection. In fact the debunked Razes genealogy ends with Baldwin I, king of Jerusalem as a brother of Godfroi, king of Jerusalem; and it was the authors of the book "The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail" who added the inept connection to the "Plantagenet family" through Baldwin's "niece" "Melusine". This, as such, is not a fault of the Razes genealogy; and it was probably done to spice up (inexpertly) the genealogy with a link to a name better known to an English audience. That is not to say, however, thet the Razes genealogy itself is not suspect.
