Boy, this subject line really caught my eye. Today is the first day I have seen this site as I am beginning to get into genealogy myself and thought I'd search the web.

I'd like to think the McCallum book is extremely reliable as my dad spent an incredible amount of time compiling that book back in the 1970s.

I have lost touch with Cliff Reuter after I sent him all the notes my father left behind on the Pixleys. I have since come across a little bit more info in clearing out my dad's records, but the names you referenced earlier are not familiar to me.
