Hoping to find a connection to Pittser/ Pitzer family for above named.

Facts:
1850 census- "The District", Saline Co, AR {http://www.rootsweb.com/~arsaline/sal50d.htm}.

Cain Jedidiah G 33 M W Farmer KY
" Catherine 22 F W OH
" John C 17 M W Laborer TN
" Mary A 13 F W TN
" Pittser M 12 M W TN
" Octavia 10 F W TN
" Minden 7 M W AR [Minder]
" Olivergara 2 F W AR [Oliver A]
Thomas Daniel 50 M W Carpenter VA

Jedidiah & Catherine later had other children- John C, William Wiseman, & Calloway.

I do not have the name of Jedidiah previous wife/wives. I assume he was married before because of age discrepancy between wife and oldest children.

Pitzer Cain was admin of his father's estate appt'd 5 Apr 1869 in Hot Spring Co, AR. Pitzer Cornelius m Cain died in 1879.

Also in the 1850 census Saline Co, AR, living in next residence from Jedidiah G Cain
was Calloway Cain, 30 yrs age, Male, White, Farmer, Born Ky, wife Martha, children- Cornelius, Andrew, Mary E, and Taylor. Through reseach [internet only}, I think this may be- Calloway Cain & Martha Nabors- married 13 Apr 1841 in Hardman, Tn.

May be only grasping at straws, but hoping that there is a connection to the Pittser/ Pitzer family through a maternal line.

Thanks,
Neenie
