ELIZABETH PITMAN m: JEPTHA BAKER 11 March 1797 in Mecklenburg Co., NC. Elizabeth and Jeptha had the folowing children: MATTTHEW, SALLY, ELIZABETH, ISAAC A., JACOB, and SUSAN BAKER. Also in the family was LEVINA PITMAN; [Jan 1808 session Mecklenburg Co. Court Of P's and Q's: "Ordered by the Court that Levina Pitman, an orphan 14 yrs. old the llth May next, be bound to Jeptha Baker to learn the art of spinster etc...] I am interested in any info re this family
and will share my paper trail with any interested researcher.
