I have Daniel Pittenger born 1750 in Readington, Hunterdon County and married 1771 in Readinton, Hunterdon County. Daniel married Charity Van Horn who was the daughter of Cornelius & Charity (Wyckoff) Van Horn.

Children:
William died 9/9/1934 married Elizabeth Searles
Daniel or "danjel" born 8/21/1775 Lebanon NJ
John Pittenger married first to Charity "Sally" Van Horn and second to Charity Schoonover
Charity Pittenger born 1780
Henry Pittenger b. 1782 married first Ann Oaks and Second to Mary "Polly" Snyder.

In the Sussex County, New Jersey Marriage book there is a entry under "Van Horn" for Sally VanHorn to John Peppenger on 2/5/1809. In my paperwork I have her listed as charity "sally" VanHorn, so I wonder if this is the same people as it is too close not to be.

My husband's family is a decendent of Henry, so I would be interested in any information that you have regarding this line!

Sincerely,

amy
