There are several books about Tichenor Families in America. One specifically by Harold Tichenor which mentions my line of Pittengers dated back to the 1600's. One of these Pittenger's was in the Revolutionary War.
Richard Pittenger - Holland??? b bef 1685 New Jersey (probably Newark)
son Hendrick, gs Richard, ggs Abraham...
