Hi Samantha,

My name is Jacques DOIRON and I live in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (Québec, Canada). Do you know a little about Acadians. PITRE, DOIRON, ARSENEAU, GALLANT etc. are all acadians patronyms. I have all of these names many times in the DOIRON tree. You'll find a lot of Pitre in the St-Alexis-de-Matapédia (Québec Canada0 and in the provinces we call the Maritimes: New-Brunswick, Nova scotia and Prince Edward Island.

I hope it can help you in your research.

Have a nice day

Jacques Doiron
