I am looking for info for a person/family who owned a Victorian home in my area in the 1800's.

WHAT I KNOW:
His name was C.A. Pitkin.

He built a Victorian home in Arroyo Grande, California in 1889 (it was supposedly painted with blues and creams). He ran a 58 acre fruit farm. The house was sold in 1904 to the Conrows.

I was wondering if anyone who was related to him could tell me about the Pitkin family who lived here. I am simply curious about their history and why they sold their home.
