Those researching Pitkin acestors in this country, might also pay attention the the Stanleys of Hartford, CN. Two of the granddaughters of Timothy Stanley, one of the two immigrant brothers who were among the founders of Hartford, married Pitkin brothers. There were other intermarriages
between the two familes in subsequent generations---so, by looking at the Stanleys,
you may well find a Pitkin spouse! Lelia
