Thanks for your reply.
What I would suggest that you get access to the film of the Parish register for Crondall, Hants. Take a record of all the births, deaths and marriages in the parish. In the latter case note if people are of the parish or another, + any witnesses who may be related. This could be done at the Hampshire County Archives Office, Winchester?, a mormon Church family history research centre....
There are many records including trees on the Family Search Website, but be cautious of About dates; I have found many to be wrong for dates and location. The IGI contains some errors and ommisions of registers be careful to rely on real records.
I have found a JOHN and RHODA having;
John 17.7.1774
John 27.5.1776
Sarah 18.11.1778
Anne 1781
Elisha 1783
Thomas 1784
Henry 1790
James 1792
Anne 27.3.1824
James 17.1.1830
Elizabeth 10.6.1832
George 7.12.1834 al......
THOMAS and JANE LUCY BUDDEN <this has a tree but I am very unhappy with its accuracy. What I did validate on the IGI was;
Thomas 16.11.1817, not C1809
George 13.1.1822, not C1811-23
10 children in all are mentioned on the Ancestral File AFN:21X5-..., [Henry, James, Louisa,William, Thomas, George, Sussanah, Jessie,Elizabeth & unknown] Check the original records I do not trust it.
This is as far as I got!
My interest is the flow out of Shinfield, Berks to other areas not Crondall in particular.
