Thanks I have most of this information. Thomas F Pither married Sarah Page. She moved to Windsor after the birth of Emma Pither (probably fathered outside marriage). Divorce was not generally permitted at the time. The children of the marriage went off the rails. Subsequently, Thomas had children through his housekeeper. Sarah lived close to her father John Knot Page who had connection with the Royal household - him being related to the WILLATS of Kidmore End, Caversham, Oxon. (of Stuart - Blood Royal.) In the 1851 census Thomas's age is given as 20 living at 85-7, BroadStreet, Reading. When married in the same year 12 August 1851 he is offull age and a coach painter. This gives a BIRTH DATE of Circa June 1831.
