Hi, Yvonna.
My wife's family was John Pitchford b 1842 Dawley, Shropshire who married Ann Corbett b 1840 Wimbridge, Shropshire. See also post number 478. Their children were:
1. Arthur b 1865 (no children)
2. Harry b 1868 (m had issue)
3. Alice Maud b 1870 (my wife's line, see below)
4. Harriet Ann b 1872 (m Fasy, had issue)
5. William Ernest b 1874
6. Martha b 1875
7. Noah b 1979
8. Eliza b 1881
9. Fred b unk. (m had issue)
Alice Maud Pitchford married Charles Growcott and had 5 children: Ewart, Eric, Harold, Ida Dora (my wife's grandmother), and Eveline. Alice and the children moved to Canada to work and eventually made their way to Northern California. Only Ewart and Ida had children.
This line does not connect to yours in the United States. However, I believe yours is from the first Samuel that came over earlier.
