I am attempting to determine how the name Pitcher came into my family. My great-grandfather was Alfred Pitcher Hull, who was born in New York state. His parents were from the Rutland, Vermont area. It is possible that a Pitcher married into the Hull family or, perhaps, into the Stone family (Alfred's mother's family.) Alfred's grandmother was a Bowen from Scotland. From reading one of your posts from a few years ago, I thought that perhaps you would have access to information that would help me.

Thank you.
