David L Pitcher (Oswego / Palmero NY 1836)

Looking for anybody with information on David L Pitcher's ancestry. He was born in Oswego/Palmero NY, DOB 1836, served in the 8th Heavy Artillery NY and had the following children:

He was married to Louisa Brewer and had 7 children:
1) Royal Sylvester
2) George Washington Pitcher (my great great grandfather)
3) Joseph Beachman Pitcher
4) Edwin James Pitcher
5) Jennie Louisa Pitcher
6) Hettie Amelia Pitcher
7) David Lester Pitcher Jr.

I know a lot of about David L but have been trying to figure out for years who his father is... this Pitcher is not in the Grace Whipple book. Furthermore, despite a ton of Pitchers in Oswego/Volney, I have not been able to make a connection.
