John one of the most common Pitcher names needs a closer date to narrow it down. As per RI, a John Pitcher, b. Sep 14, 1818, d. Aug 4, 1898 married Elizabeth Isabella Greene on 14 Sep 1840 E. Greenwich, Kent Co., RI. They had 5 knowen children, all girls. Closest I could come.
To find out about this John and another 50 or so, A book published in 2007, "The Pitcher Book" by William Phipps, 942 pages on Andrew & Margaret Pitcher, 1633 till present can be had at www.HeritageBooks.com Hope this helps.
