Hello, I know you wrote this message over 6 years ago, but thought I would give it a try....

My grandmother was Gladys Virginia (Pitcher) Blair. She was born in Island Creek, MD (Calvert County) in 1909. Her father was Thomas Cleveland Pitcher and mother, Caroline (Gunterman) Pitcher. Their children are: Thomas Frederick, 8/2/1906, Anna Louise 3/13/1908, Gladys Virginia 10/16/1909, Bessie Marie 9/30/1918 and William Everett 1/2/1923. Tom was the son of John (Jack) William Pitcher and Francis Melvia Sophia Virginia Bell(Eva Virginia Horsman) Pitcher from Island Creek, MD. There were ten children in the family: Thomas Cleveland, John William Jr, Martha Rebecca, Cassard Orglethorpe, Gladys, Louise, Shirlie(male), Philip, Ella and Ella's twin, name unrecalled. Tom's brother Cassard bore a son, Paul, who became a prominent attorney and eventually Attorney General of Anne Arundel County. The county placed a monument to him on a highway leading to Gibson Island.

Does any of this match your records?
