who is Sir Miles Pitcher?

I am doing some research on the Vaughan family of the County of Brecknock, Wales. In a pedigree listed by George T. Clark in his Genealogies of Glamorgan, there are two references to a "SIR MILES PITCHER." Sir Miles Pitcher is said to be the father of Jane who married Howel ap Llewelyn of Llechryd. Howel's great grandson, Rosser-Vychan (Roger Vaughan) is said to have been married to "Jane, daughter and co-heir of Ralph Baskerville, by a daughter of SIR MILES PITCHER." The son of Rosser-Vychan is said to have gained wealth and fame in the wars of Edward III.

Who is Sir Miles Pitcher, when and where did he live, and who was his family? Any information would be much appreciated.
