Hi Jason,
Thanks for your message. I am very confused about the PITCHERS I have. The dates of birth are from the 1881 Census but there are a whole load of them on the IGI including several common names but Job's date of birth is all wrong. I can't confirm that it is the right one yet. Surely there can't have been that many PITCHERS families having children at the same time in one small village?!!

I have looked at a map and see that Kessingland is quite near to Corton so maybe they came from there originally.

This is really a tangent as it was my grandmother's maiden name and I've come up against brick walls on my other surnames.
