My info indicates that the Old Bonaventure Pitchers originated with James who was born in 1791. The majority of the Pitchers in newfoundland go back to Scilly Cove (Winterton), and Hearts Content where Richard was in 1753. It appears, though not confirmed, that Richards son John was the father of James_1 (b1791)
