I have just found out my paternal G Gmothers name,Genevieve A PISCHKE.She was born January 1850.I don't know her parents names. She was married to Frank Simon BURKHARD, b 1850, New York.
Genevieve is listed on various Census as born in Prussia, her native tongue being Polish.
I don't yet know when or where Frank and Genevieve were married.
My Gfather Charles F and his older brother John S, were born in Nebraska. John in 1871, and Charles in 1874.
By 1880, Frank and Genevieve were living in Shenandoah, Iowa.By then they had two more children, George A b 1876, and Frances V b 1878.They were still living in Shenandoah in 1900, with two more children, Mary G b 1881, and Agnes C b 1885.
By 1910, Frank and Genevieve were living in Grand Island, Nebraska. Frank died in 1910. In 1920, Genevieve is living with daughter Frances V in Grand Island.
Some names connected with this family are LEFEBVRE SMITH, WINDOLPH.
