Hi, My gggrandfather "Matthew Lippert" married a Betsy Ann Pipher in Olean NY in 1854. They later moved to Michigan. I was trying to locate Matthew Lippert on the 1850 Cattaragus census for NY, and ran across several Pipher families. I will list the ones that I found below, and you can see if they are the ones you are looking for. Some of the names, and ages are not distinct, and I will guess at them, and put a question mark after them.

John Pipher age 30?
Cheba? age 20
William? age 6
Martha age 4
Peter age 20 months

living next door were these Piphers

Samual Pipher age 47?
Christiana age 30?
Fanny? age 17
Moulinck? age 10
Mary age 12
Elizabeth age 10
Francis age 9
Channy? age 5
Eliza Ann age 8
Harriet? age 8 months?

In another household there was Jacob Pipher age 87
He was living with someone else that they didn't name who was 70, and Sarah Snyder age 14, and Phillip age 20.

The last Pipher household belonged to David Pipher age 24 his wife's name looks like Mamit? She was age 20.

Hope this information helps. If these are your Piphers I can mail you copies of these pages, and perhaps you can make out the names better.
