Hardy of 336 John Wiley2 Pipes (554) (Hiram1) was born on 3/5/1828. He married Violet Matilda Brown (1773). He died on 12/13/1863 in Nashville, Tennessee, at age 35; died from Dysentry. He died while serving for the Confederacy during the Civil War. The four known children of John Wiley2 Pipes (554) and Violet Matilda Brown (1773) were as follows: + 42. i. Jesse N.3 Pipes (1774) was born on 5/27/1853. He married Riley Ray (1778) in Ashe Co., North Carolina. + 43. ii. Delphia Caroline Pipes (1775) was born circa 1854. She married John M. Taylor (1782). 44. iii. Mary C. Pipes (1776) was born circa 1858. + 45. iv. Martha E. Pipes (1777) was born on 8/22/1862. She married Calvin Henry Hawkins (1786) on 12/1/1881.
