Bob didn't seem too sure, he just thought it was Ernest, don't know... Perhaps whichever one it was would be listed with any boxing groups or commission that could be checked? But I have no idea how to go about checking that.
I have been looking over the web site and filling in my Family Tree Maker file with what you all have there. I am in the misddle of the obits now actually!
I have been bugging my mother for old family pics forever and she hasn't seemed overly eager to get me copies or let me take them to scan. She has a scanner, but they don't have the best relationship.
I asked her again for some copies of old photos the other day, and she seemed a little more willing, so keep your fingers crossed. I know she has pics of Bob when he was little (and of course after they met), and I think she has a picture of Alfred and Marie on their wedding day and possibly some others, I will try to get them scanned somehow and post them. She also has a some nice pictures of Bob's daughter.
I have a picture of Bob and my mother from the early 70's hanging on the wall , but we are remodeling and there is stuff in front of it right now, but I will see if I can get to it and scan it.
