I'm just a late-night/ early morning curiosity person who ran past this as I was looking for some of my husband's relatives.

My husband's family has their roots in the Point Pleasant area of New Jersey. My husband (Noah Pinto) is the son of John Charles Pinto (born in 1940). John's father was Michael Troy Pinto (dec'd in the mid-1990s, if I can recall correctly). Michael was married to Emily Pinto (and I know of absolutely no surnames!). Michael had a sister named Rose who passed away sometime before Michael (but I am not sure how long before). I am unaware of any additional siblings that he had (however, as you can see, that doesn't mean much of anything!).

Michael and Emily had 3 children: Joe, John ("Jack"), and Frank. Joe passed away in the early 90's from a motorcycle accident.

I do know that the original name was NOT Pinto. I believe it was changed shortly after Michael and/or his father came over from Italy.

As I read this post, I found the names so remarkably close to those in my husband's family that I had to reply. Please respond. Thank you!
