Hi John,

The passenger list, of the John of London, that is on the MD genweb site was a copy of the original that I had gotten from the Maryland State Archives (source given at bottom of list: http://files.usgwarchives.net/md/statewide/immigration/johnoflondon.txt)

I checked Ancestry.com's "Passenger and Immigration Lists Index, 1500s-1900s", search results:
Robert Cooke
Place: Maryland
Year: 1720
Annotation: Date and port of arrival or date and place of mention in the New World. Birth date, occupation, names of family members, and a reference to sources listed on pages ix-xiv may also be provided.
Source: DOBSON, DAVID. Scots on the Chesapeake, 1607-1830. Baltimore: Genealogical Publishing Co., 1992. 169p. page: 31
also...
Robert Cooke Year: 1720 Place: Maryland
Annotation: Covers era prior to 1855. Compiled from correspondence and monument inscriptions, 17th and, mainly, 18th century. Prepared for the Scottish Genealogical Society. 6,470 emigrants.
Source: WHYTE, DONALD. A Dictionary of Scottish Emigrants to the USA. Vol. 1. Baltimore: Magna Carta Book Co., 1972. 504p. 2nd pr., 1981. pg. 79

There were a good many Cookes who also immigrated to Maryland in the early to mid 1700s (36 in all between the yrs 1712-1748). References:
