I came across the following in our family notes and wondered if anone out there recognizes any of this information: The note states the folloing (as best I can decipher it) "As written to me by Sarah Pinney before her deather Dec. 3rd 1936. Your great great granfather John Pinney was two years old when his father died leaving hime two estates. The trustee I was told speculated and took them for him, but he was always independant. They could not be found his life property. I think he lived at Axminster he left two sons William and John. WIlliam your great grandfather, not saying daughters." Williams sons are then then listed as follows, (if I am tracing this correctly William is married to Dinah Bampfield) John - no children William - four sons: William (no children), THomas (Lewis, George), JOhn (William, Thomas) , and Frederick (Tom, Walter, Harry, ROlf, ARthur, ?)? Thomas - three sons: THomas (Thomas), JOhn (Thomas JOhn), William (??) Isiah - no sons That is the end of the note. I believe the John Pinney they are talking about was married to a Mary ?. If you recognize any of these names please let me know.I have no dates on the note except the one for Sarah Pinney. But I believe the dates should take us back to the late 1700's.
