Thank you for your reply. It is a little confusing because there are two John Benbury Pinner's. The following is part of the tree as I understand it.

Langley G. Pinner(born approx. 1787) married Sarah Truitt (born approx 1792, died 1871). They had three children: Joseph H., James Henry and John Benbury. The one son Joseph H. I have no information on. For James Henry, I have that he married Mary Amanda Creef on 2/29/1858. Their children are Samuel Truitt (my great grandfather) and John Benbury (born 10/5/1859, died 1936). This John Benbury married Phoebe Elliott Creef. James Henry also married Sarah Basnight on 12/28/1852. I have no childre referenced for their marriage. James Henry also married Mahola Creef. Their children are Courtland, Nevada, William Sherman, Ann Waco and Colorado.

Langley's and Sarah's third son, John Benbury (born 6/7/1833), died 1871), married Sarah M. Mann (born 1/13/1835, died 11/22/1863). Their children are John Rollins (born 3/2/1862, died 8/28/1918) and Leonidas Rosser (born 11/22/1863 - which leads you to believe his mother died in child birth). John Rollins married Melissa A. Brickhouse 4/19/1883. John's and Melissa's children are Warren, Guy, Amy Blanche and baby son.

I can take Sarah Truitt Pinner back to England but have hit a road block at Langley. I have been able to find out alot about the Brickhouses as it relates to my grandmother who is a Basnight but haven't really reseached Melissa.
