I have a family chart which was given to me that shows Lewis Pinkston was the father of Zach, Cynthia Purdy, Fernas (Phineas), and Lewis. It show that Zach is the father of Harrison, Taylor, Tilford (Gilford), Layton,
Fernas (Phineas) and Dilla. The chart is quite extensive and includes members of the Floyd and Hallmark families who are related.

Census records show that Lewis Pinkston was born about 1775 in South Carolina.
