Hi Janis,
I am also researching Lafayette Riggs for my brother-in-law who is a Riggs descendent. I am very interested in the picture you said you had of Lafayette and Mary Frances Pinkston. Would if be possible for you to share this picture through e-mail? Lafayette was previously married to Sarah Pinkston, who is the ancestor of my Riggs. Have you heard anything about a Native American link through this particular generation? I have done both trees if you need any information.
