John, I read with interest your information on the children of James Preston Pinkston. He was my great grandfather. My grandfather was not listed in your names of the children. He was John Evan Pinkston, and I think he was the oldest child. He was born in Chambers Co. AL and died in Tallapoosa Co. AL.
I had the following as names of the children of James Preston-- John Evan Pinkston; Emma Smith Pinkston Johnson; James Keen Pinkston; Sally Lou Pinkston Gibbs; Claudius Baker Pinkston, Sr.; and Mary Susan Pinkston Tolbert.
My father was Claudius Baker Pinkston of Tallapoosa Co. AL.
His uncle, the C.B. listed above, had a son with the same name. I have a picture of all three Claudius Baker Pinkstons.
I would be interested in sharing information if you are related to James Preston Pinkston.
