I am researching the family of William Pinkston of North Carolina; through his son Peter Pinkston of Williamson County, TN.; through his daughter Tennessee Pinkston, wife of Humphrey Montgomery of MS.

In my DAR books I found the following:

PINKSTON
William Pinkston, born 12-16-1733, NC; died 7-27-1815, NC
m. (1) Mary ________, (2) Ann ________
Pvt. NC
From DAR Patriot List, Cenntennial Edition, Part 3, page 2319

This states he married twice. Others state he married a Mary Ann Polk. Can anyone provide me with information on his marriages and this line.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
