I continue to look for solid evidence that George Pinkley of Orange Co., IN, is the same person as George Binkley, b. 28 August 1781, Bethania, Surry Co., NC, son of John Binkley and Johanna Jacobina Leedy. Their son married Nelly Earthman, daughter of Isaac Earthman and Mary Holt on 16 May 1807 in Davidson County, Tennessee. This is the last record that I can find that is clearly for this George Binkley. A George Binkley signed a petition in Missouri in 1811. This could be the same George Binkley as some of his brothers went to Missouri quite early; however, there is no proof who this George is. The 1833 will of Isaac Earthman leaves part of his estate to the children of his daughter Nelly; the wording of the will implies that Nelly had died by that time.
