I privately think that Hannah Daniels did not exist. Her name is given in a letter by Samuel's grandson, well after the fact. All my research in primary records show that Samuel's only known wife was Lois (---).

Administration of his estate is given to his wife Lois Pinkham who died at Madbury on 16 October 1825. Samuel has six children--no Hannah, but a Lois. Two of his children, Samuel and Richard both name a daughter Lois.

Somehow things get confused one generation to another and remember they were in New Hampshire and the grandson lived in Maine. So, I would not discount the chance the information is mistaken. I would at available Lois's in the Madbury area.
