It being certified to our county Court of Orange, that DAVID PINKERTON late of said county is dead and hath made no will or testament and whereas administration of the Estate of sd DAVID PINKERTON being granted to ANNE <SHIPTON> PINKERTON who entered into security & qualified agreeable to serv
These are therefor to impower you the said ANNE PINKERTON to enter into & upon all & singular the goods chattels, rights & credits of the said DAVID PINKERTON deceased whatsoever in this state to be found -- inventory thereof --- oath to return to our said court wither ninety days from the --- whereof --nd all the just debts to pay so far as the --- and estate will extend or amount to.
Given at the Clerks Office the 29th day of November 1782 the Seventh year of the Independence of America
Issue of David II & Annie Shipton is: Robert Chapman, Margaret (twins) & Elizabeth. David II's parents were David I & Mary <Glass? unproven> Pinkerton
After the death of David II, Annie married Robert JORDON in 1794.
