I assume y'all have seen the Piner, Stonebraker land patents in Lake Co. Calif. @ ftp://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/ca/lake/land/lake.txt

I have maps and can [eventually] locate properties tho I bet they are just where you think they are.

I am up to where C.A.Piner m. Sarah Anneta Hand in my Gard monologue. Can anybody help me with how the Piners got to Missouri or for that manner with anything about the whole Gard/Piner situation? I will have about a day in Sept. to investigate the area this Sept. and have room to put info on my page at:
http://home.pacbell.net/gardm
The Gards and the Piners crossed the plains in '49 and remained friends for years in Lake Co. Any inputs appreciated.

cheers,

Gard Meddaugh in Mtn. View, Calif.
